Goal:

School visits, group practice in La Pena

What made​​:

School visits

Split into groups, we visited the Nature school only one

in Portugal in La Pena forest and school in Sintra.

In the Nature School, we helped to mend fences.

Visitors always helps out with various jobs so that

Nature School can live on. Fire danger is high in

Portugal therefore helps visitors often by picking sticks.

The school visit learned us why in south Europe here

is so little green on the school yards, water shortages

and therefore such a lot of concrete.

We were greeted by a warmth from the teachers and students.

Interested high school students talked about their plans

and were good, happy to speak English.

But still there was a schoolgarden with vetgetables.

Met math teacher, who was interested in Movium Math Lab

as well as teachers from the Comenius course. I will  send

both of them them all a folder on Matt lab printed in English.

For those with their asphalt surfaces, the Math Lab can be

useful for them, both in the playground and in the city.

Group exercises

Brittas beaver song in the forest La Pena, resulting in truly

amazing group exercises. We got 1 m rope and would do

anything that had to do with beavers.

The beavers managed to fell a tree "Kalle".

What a sight to see Kalle take action.

 Lookout point

 By forest like a church in La Pena, we walked to an old ruin with

 wind strange sight against Muchaxo our hotel and Guincho beach.

 Britta, as usual actor served "champagne" to all of us up there.

Elevators talk

went on from the previous day. Resulted in even more important networking.

Learned today:

Schoolyards understand why it is difficult to have more green

and why it is needed as much asphalt.

Networking the importance of constantly created space for this.
For us at the course to get too know each other better to help
the schools of Europe to develope.

Goal:

Group exercises and reflections in groups.

What made​​:

Group Exercise

We went to the World Heritage area Sintra in the hills,

to the forest and the palace La Pena.  The Palace la Pena

one of the finest examples of nineteenth century Portuguese

Romanticism and the integration of natural and built heritage.

We got an envelope with a map that showed where our

group would develop and implement exercise with the

other groups. We came to a small temple, therefore,

we chose an exercise with still hot.

We cut square holes in papers to hand out give  to our participants.

Participants were 2 and 2 and they sholuld together

find something to draw off together by looking

through the little square.

Reflection

made by us in our own group and others reflected
on how we done our exercise.

Very fun, rewarding and educational.

Sintra

Now we got us a much needed restful hike down to the

World Heritage town of Sintra through the woods.

Southern Europe beautiful city centers invite us to a nice sangria.

Reflection

Group rules of yesterday was now for the benefit and everyone felt free.

Returned home to the hotel, we reflected in our groups about the last day.

What have I learned about myself, about others and how I felt?

International evening

The evening offered a cultural encounters from 35 funny educators

from 10 different countries.

Larned today

God group composition and rules of the group create god groups
that are creative and have fun together.

Reflections in the group makes all grow as people.

Goal:

What makes a good outdoor educator?

We did this:

The morning that all future mornings began with "melona" Dusan

illustrative way of showing how a circle can be used to give clear

instructions and to collect the group.

Especially Dusans singing with us, gave the morning a good start.

Expectations of our submissions before the course,

now those where in paper rolls.

Britta tells us how to find the paperrolls.

We had to locate the paper rolls through home-made cones.

Not so easy to find the rolls.

"Melona" and we all read 35 different expectations.

Keywords for outdoor education

Collectively we thought about the key words for outdoor education.

The words were written down a meter across the sand and could be

read by anyone from the hotel.

Feelings of group

Dusan talked about the importance of how to clear over our feelings

to the group, so that the group feels that we do.

Metaphors on outdoor education

Collective thinking, designing, and we told our metaphors

about outdoor education for each others groups.

Reflection Groups

Margrit with us figured out that a good creative team needs to

consist of such people with different ages, experiences, cultures,

men / women, and that group size may be 5 -6 facilitators spread.

Now wee needed som rest in the sun.

The first refelction group

We now formed our first reflectiongroup and did the rules for the group.

Now we were headed for something exciting for the coming week.

Elevators tall

We got three minutes on us to introduce ourselves, at home we had

prepared an A4 sheet of photo short text about us. Really exciting to

listen, quick to grasp the participants.  Tove sat there and timed us.

Elevator speech continued the next day.

Learned today:

Outdoor Educator how do I get a good one and important to have good reflection groups.

Saturday March 24 after the course I was sitting

at Miraduro La Garca i Lisbon writing down the blogtext.

Together with 35 teachers from 10 European countries we

met in Lisbon  Airport on 18 March by our leaders

Margrit Hensler, Sweden

Tove Hensler, Sweden

Dusan Bartunek, Chech Republic

 We would participate in a week's EU Comenius course

 Outdoor Leadership in Portugal in the program for Long Life Learning.

 Johan Amos Comenius  was born in 1592 was a Czech teacher.

 He wanted us to travel, explore and share our knowledge.

From Lisbon we went by bus to Muchaxo Hotel at Guincho

beach on the Atlantic coast.

There we were welcomed by our leaders and soon we felt like one big family.

Dusan took up the guitar and so began an instructive week.

 Each year courses are organized in Europe by Kinda Muncipality

 These courses are funded by

 International Programme Office, Comenius training

Gustavsson / Kellander visar stadsodling i Kalmar

Plantuppdragning till odlingen.

I sommar presenterar designern Lars Gustavsson och

jag en konkret liten stadsodling på plats i Kalmar.

Portugal utomhuspedagogik

Den 18 mars möter jag 35 pedagoger från

10 olika europeiska länder på utomhuspedagogik

kurs i Portugal. Vi kommer att prata om ledarskap

och hur vi kan använda landskapet i undervisningen.

Varje år ordnas via Kinda kommun  

kurser i Europa för pedagoger.

Dessa kurser finansieras av 

Internationella Programkontoret,

Commenius fortbildning.

Gustavsson/ Kellander växlar upp Urban Odling

Igår hade Lars Gustavsson och jag möte med

Christin Carlström projektledare på SFI – Yrkesutveckling,

Kalmarssunds Gymnasieförbund

-projekt inom Europeiska socialfonden

Lars design kring Urban Odling lockar nya åldersgrupper

till mångkulturella mötesplatser.  Christin såg många

möjligheter när Lars visade modellen med mobil odling.

Christin har varit i kontakt med politiker och länsstyrelsen i

Kalmar  båda visar intresse för Grön Integration.

Mötesresultat

Christin kommer att kalla till ett upptaktsmötet

med bland annat politiker och Hushållningssällskapet.

Per Hasselberg Grön Integration Väst berättar om sina 

erfarenheter.

Därefter kan en ansökan inom Grön integration påbörjas där

Gustavsson/ Kellanders tankar kring Urban odling kan ingå som en del.

Färsk vitlöksgräslök i köket

Nu kördar jag vitlöksgräslök i köksfönstret.
Krukan tog jag in för några veckor sedan.

Vitlöksgräslök heter också kinesisk gräslök och
Allium Tuberosum. Växten är perenn har vackra
vita blommor och fina fröställingar.
Frö kan köpas på http://www.jalapeno.nu/


Användning:
Vilöksgräslök är god i sallader, på smörgåsen.
Gör egen färskost med avrunnen yougurt, grädfil,
vitlöksgräslök, kryddsalt. Färskosten smakar gott till
bröd, scones gjort på delar av kornmjöl i degen.
